An exhibition has been proposed for sometime in 2017 depending upon the availability of works. This is a ideal opportunity to present David's unique achievement as a painter, print-maker and draughtsman, and to put David firmly back on the art historical map of West Penwith.
There is no bad news of course... just a cry for help! If you own or know the whereabouts of any art works of art or any other exhibitable material regarding David Haughton's life, please get in touch with me or with the director at Penlee House, Louise Connell. This will be a marvelous opportunity to celebrate the work of one of the most fascinating painters to have worked in the St Ives area, so often overlooked in recent years.
